Australian Standards for Trolley Jacks AS/NZS 2615:2004
Although this standard does not apply to jacks with a capacity of over 2.5 ton, they still need to be tested to comply with Appendix F of this standard (ANSI POLD). The purpose of Appendix F is to prove that the jack is capable of lifting the specified weight safely. To meet this standard, the jack is tested by being put under the maximum load capacity (3 ton in this case) and the user must be able to lift said weight using no more than 450 Newtons of force on the handle.
Many of our competitors claim that their jacks have a 3 ton capacity, when in fact, they do not.
We’ve had our jacks tested, so you can be confident that you are purchasing a quality product that actually meets the standards.
